Wetter in Köln
Köln hat ein gemäßigtes Klima mit milden Wintern und mäßig warmen Sommern. Die Stadt liegt im Regenschatten der Eifel, welche die Stadt auch vor Westwinden schützt. Im Januar liegen die Temperaturen bei durchschnittlich 3°C, lange Phasen mit Eis und Schnee sind eher die Ausnahme. In den Sommermonaten kommt es durch die Verdunstung des Rheinwassers häufig zu schwülem Wetter mit vielen Gewittern.
Während des Karnevals im Februar feiert die ganze Stadt. Schulen, öffentliche Einrichtungen und Geschäfte haben geschlossen. Am Rosenmontag werden Teile der Innenstadt für den Rosenmontagsumzug gesperrt. Wer es lieber ruhiger mag, sollte Köln in dieser Zeit besser meiden.
